When encounter low disk space of C drive

You must have encountered such situation: the C drive is running out of disk pace in Windows Server. When the computer prompts this warning, you may find yourself in a panic. You will find your computer running slowly enough as to break your heart. And no more applications are allowed to be installed in the C drive. In fact, this is a common thing for the majority of computer users. So don't worry about it. When there is a problem, there must be a solution. And Windows has prepared a direct way fro you to deal with this problem – that is the Windows disk management.

Check what Windows disk management can do for you. To solve the problem of low disk space of C drive, what you need to do is to extend it. Now check whether there is an unallocated space right besides partition C. You have to pay attention that this "besides" means "adjacent" and "in the right". Only in this way can you merge these two partitions into a bigger one. Then how about there is no unallocated space? Just shut up and cry!

OK, don't take it seriously, a kidding. To return to the subject, there is still another way. You have to delete a partition to create one. So backup all your data in advance. However, this way seems a little bit clumsy, right? So why not seek help elsewhere?

Seek help from third-party partition software

Luckily, the market doesn't let you down on this matter. You can find a lot of software that is professional in dealing with such kind of problem. Compared with Windows disk management, third-party partition software is more convenient and flexible to use. AOMEI Partition Assistant Server performs rather well.

Method One - Merge Partitions: If there is unallocated space in the disk, right click the unallocated space and choose Merge Partitions. In the pops-up window, tick the C drive and click OK. In the end, don't forget to click Apply at the top-left corner. If there is no unallocated space, create one by resizing partition D or E (as shown in figure), and the following steps are the same as what said in front.
