How to Add Drive to RAID?

July 12, 2018

Add drive to Software RAID (0, 5) array can extend RAID volume, it is simultaneously a good choice to enhance computer I/O performance and data security.

This powerful feature applies to both striped volume (Software RAID 0) and Software RAID-5 volume. By adding drive to RAID, not only the RAID volume expands, but also the computer performance improves.

Note: To add drive to RAID, there must be unused disks available. At the same time, the unallocated space on the disk should be equal or larger than the RAID volume on a single disk.

Step1: Launch AOMEI Dynamic Disk Manager and click "Add Drive to RAID".
