Partition Alignment helps to get your SSD or HDD in proper care
Option1: Copy Partition Quickly, only copy the used space and existing files in the source partition to destination partition, and you can change partition size during the copy process. With the option, any larger partition allows to be copied to a smaller partition; vice verse, a smaller partition also can be duplicated to a larger one.
Option2: Sector by Sector Copy, copy all files (including deleted invalid files and existing valid files) in the partition to another partition. In other word, all sectors on the partition will be copied and pasted to another partition, no matter whether these sectors are used or not.
The option2 will take more time than option1, and copy more thoroughly for other more advanced pro clients.
Copying partition means copy one partition to an unallocated space and the software will automatically create a new partition on this unallocated space. If there is no unallocated space available, you should delete the existed partition first, for example, if you want to copy partition D to partition E, you should delete partition E which make E becomes the unallocated space. Then, you can freely use Copy Wizard to copy partition D to this unallocated space.Enjoy AOMEI Partition Assistant free version
