How to copy OS to new hard drive via AOMEI Partition Assistant?
Two kinds of partition copy methods are provided by AOMEI Partition Assistant. They
are as follows:
No.1: "Copy Partition Quickly"
It only copies the used space of source partition and support to resize and move
drive during the copy process. This kind of duplicate is recommend by AOMEI. Before
doing the copy, the unallocated space in target disk must be equal to or larger than
the used space of source partition.
No.2: "Sector-by-Sector Copy"
It copies all sectors of the drive to another disk no matter whether it is used or
not. During the process, you cannot adjust the size of drive, but you can change the
location in the destination disk. The new hard drive's size is entirely equal to
the original one. Similarly, the free space in target hard drive must be equal or
larger than the occupied space in original partition. By this way, you can copy
entire OS partition to new hard drive.
