Why Need to Create Partitions in Windows 10?
A partition is also called volume, which is a part of a hard drive. If we compare a hard drive as a bookshelf, the partitions are shelves. Each partition can be recognized by computer system and they are used to store data. Usually the computers made by manufactures have only one original partition, but we commonly see there are 3 or 4 partitions in the hard drive. Why does this happen?
Usually the users create partitions in Windows 10 due to some reasons. For example, with more partitions you can separately store your data. In this way, it is convenient for you to manage your different data. What’s more, if there is only one partition, the operating system, applications, and data are stored together. On one hand too many data in one partition will affect the speed of computer, on the other hand, if your system is crashed, you need to restore system, the whole disk will be formatted and all the data on the disk will be removed. Therefore, after you restoring system, you have to install all the applications you required. This is a troublesome work that nobody wants to meet. With the reasons mentioned above, you should know creating partition is necessary.
