In this case, you need to use some special tool to repair corrupted MBR without reinstalling the OS. the Rebuild MBR feature is added in AOMEI Partition Assistant and the following are the detailed steps about how to rebuild MBR with AOMEI Partition Assistant.

Before You Do

  • Download the disk partition software and install it on your PC.
  • Supposing your computer cannot boot now, on this condition, you need to create WinPE bootable CD with AOMEI Partition Assistant on another computer. After that, you can start your computer through this bootable CD and you will enter in AOMEI Partition Assistant's interface so you can use the "Rebuild MBR" feature.
  • There is another way to rebuild corrupted MBR when your computer cannot boot: Unplug the system disk that failed to boot from the machine and plug this disk to another machine and run AOMEI Partition Assistant so you can use "Rebuild MBR" feature.

To Rebuild MBR

Step1: Select the system disk which cannot boot and right-click the disk to select "Rebuild MBR", or in the left side interface of Aomei Partition Assistant, and select Disk Operations -> Rebuild MBR.
