Convert Partition from FAT/FAT32 to NTFS File System
In computing, a file system is a method for storing and organizing computer files. A proper file system can improve the partition performance and will make it very easy to find and access data. Typically, there are three types of file system, FAT, FAT32 AND NTFS. NTFS is the recommended file system because NTFS is more powerful than FAT/FAT32 in areas such as data security, data consistency and writing and retrieving speed.
Before you do
If there are other applications running on the partition which you are going to perform, AOMEI Partition Assistant will notice you to close those applications or to execute this operation in PreOS Mode.
AOMEI Partition Assistant can easily convert your partition to the new file system of NTFS even if it used FAT or FAT32 before. This kind of conversion will keep the content of your partition intact.
To convert partition
step1. Select a FAT12, FAT16 or FAT32 partition that you want to convert to NTFS, and right click the Partition -> Advanced -> Convert to NTFS.

Note:
